How often do you find yourself shifting focus based on new information? This doesn’t have to come in the form of anything major or groundbreaking. There are subtle messages we pick up as we go through our day-to-day life. Recently, listening to Untamed by Glennon Doyle, the idea of impermanence came up. The message was to the effect that what we are experiencing isn’t going to last forever so we should enjoy it while it does rather than fear what happens when it’s gone. I think being present in the moment has always been important for me but now, more than ever, I’m trying to be where I am and trust that it will only change when it’s time.
