I get just about zero of my boyfriend’s references to movie quotes, shows, but I love that it never deters him from making them and trying to explain what he’s referring to. Having a kid early took up most of my time to watch anything but cartoons and the movies I have seen only linger in my mind as vague concepts and the emotions attached to them. I always say, though, that there’s a time and a place for everything and this is absolutely the time and place, the one I get.
