Poetry Series – Energy

Beneath the anger, almost every time without question, you’ll find hurt, fear, sadness, or grief. A useful tool when facing danger, maybe, to keep you at the ready. Even that I’d question. Fueling your anger with attention, acting it out as if it’s the truth, will get you no where but farther away from you.

Energy

The saying goes “energy flows where attention goes”
So I’m trying to drop my anger without looking back
Fixate on a point in the distance, build wonder
Begin to wander
leave the disdain somewhere in the past, along the path, and never look back
Where I stand, I bury my hand
in my pocket
Fishing out the negative charge
Just deciding where to drop it

Much love, until next time.
