Poetry Series – Hurt People

Hurt people, hurt people. Hurt people hurt people. I repeat. Hurt people, hurt people. Hurt people, hurt people. HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE! HURT PEOPLE, HURT PEOPLE!!!!
You can say I’m selfish when I’m not coming around, I get it. It looks that way. But my healing is just as much for you as it is for me. So I’ll keep moving this way, even if you call it greed. Maybe someday you’ll shift to healing, and stop feeling the need to hurt me.

Hurt People

Imagine not knowing how to say “I’m hurting”
So instead
You show I’m hurting
Only you’re not working
From the inside out
Acting out
What’s hiding within
Your war is on display
But you’re sucking everyone in
Imagine not knowing how to say “I’m hurting”
So you just keep on
Hurting
Everyone

Much love, until next time.
