Poetry Series – New Moon

I hate to break it to you – I know you’ve been off thinking I’m special or something but… I am just like other girls. They, we, are fucking magical.

I, simply, made the mistake of letting you see rather than looking in the mirror and revealing myself to me.

In my era of correction, I’m returning to be – all magical, wild and girlie.

New Moon

Ritualized acts of friendship
look like
New moons by campfire.

Burning away inhibitions,
we return
to play centered learning.

I have a yearning
for feminine connection,
intimately birthing

co-creations.
We offer blessings
to selves, mother and sisters,

trusting
the rhythm of our bodies
to figure

the perfect timing.
Rhythm turns aligning –
only in letting go,

dropping our fears
will we find it.
I’ve missed both you and I – lots of times.

Welcome, friend.
No.. no, you’re not late.
You’ve arrive, in perfect timing.

Much love, until next time.
