Poetry Series – Crazy

I get self-conscious over the fact that most of my best stories involve falling in love, as if it’s something to be ashamed of that love is the greatest thing I have to offer. For so many reasons, I am absolutely positive that it is by far the greatest thing that someone can offer. I think that’s why I’ve developed such an aversion to limiting it. I think that’s why it’s the primary focus of what feels like everything that I do.

Crazy
You would ask me if I think that we’re crazy.
We met in a psych ward.
Of course, we’re crazy.
Crazy passionate
Crazy emotional
Crazy honest
Crazy loving
Crazy brave
Crazy strong
We are all of the best kinds of crazy,
and I,
I am absolutely crazy for you.
